We operate a moving business and move pretty much anything from one address to another. That’s single items, small removals and large house removals. We endeavour to provide a vehicle and the right amount of staff to get a job done safely and efficiently. We also offer a number of services and products to prepare you for your move when the need arises.
We have offices in Leeds and Manchester. We run operations throughout the UK. We will always aim to provide our services to you from one of our nearest locations.
If use our online quoting system, quite quickly, you are able to generally describe and list what items are to be moved on your move date. We identify what size of vehicle is suitable and book your move for you. If you would rather or there is the need we can call at an address to complete a removals estimation.
Try to give us as much notice as possible to ensure your move can be scheduled for a time most convenient to you. We also cater for those last minute needs too.
We charge a fixed rate as per the job. We realise as best as possible the size of the job, estimate how long it might take us to complete the job and quote to you for a fixed amount. We will not charge more than this unless a significant difference to the number of items to be moved is presented or if property conditions/possible obstacles at the move start or end points have been described as different. In such a case, hopefully we would before a job is started discuss an adjustment to the quoted amount. Such anadjustment will appear on an amended invoice. Please see billing adjustments.
Payment is expected on completion of the job or service. On occasion we may ask you a deposit towards a service booked for you. We do not charge booking fees and this will be deducted from the overall amount due at the end.
Our removals teams are not insured to and cannot help you pack for the move. We do however offer a packing service. A day or days before your move, one or more trained packing staff can help you pack your possessions and prepare for you move.
Our general insurance cover that covers your goods whilst we are handling them (up to £40,000), is included in every quote we give you. The option to purchase a custom insurance policy more suited to a specific move is also available.
As Standard (With you paying the Destination Add-On Fee), we will move you into the destination property and will leave all your items in the best places possible in all necessary rooms. You can opt-out of paying the Destination Add-On (To reduce costs). We will move all the items into one room/area, safely in the destination property not obstructing any access ways. Here you could save on the total cost of moving. We term this option the Destination Add-On Option.
We sometimes may feel it necessary to add the Access Charge in an instance where an excess of work than under normal circumstances is to be or has been carried out. Likewise In a case where unexpected circumstances arise that were not mentioned or considered at the time of quoting by either party. i.e. Property access issues, work delays.
